Hybrid Bass: 17 LB Fort Loudon Lake

This beast of a fish was caught in the spring on Fort Loudon Lake. Targeting current was crucial. Initially, we were on the search for stud river smallmouth and found this river monster! Fishing deeper current, we used the 3/8oz. Electric Shad Underspin and attached a 4" inch white swimbait on the back of our underspin. A slow retrieve in 12 feet of water got this fish in the boat. In you ever hook one of these beasts of a fish, make sure to hold on for a ride!
